A wellness plan and self-care routine are essential for maintaining my overall health, balance, and happiness. I've noticed significant improvements, such as getting more restful sleep, which has positively impacted my daily functioning. I've also learned to limit my worries, allowing me to spend more quality time with my family and engage in activities that benefit my well-being. Being more mindful of my dietary choices and focusing on my health has helped boost my mood and energy levels. To support my self-care journey further, I decided to take some time off from work and disconnect from electronic devices. This break allowed me to fully immerse myself in my surroundings, rejuvenate, and deepen my appreciation for the simple joys in life.
However, I recognize there are areas I am actively working to improve, particularly in setting clear boundaries with my clients. I often receive calls or texts labeled as "urgent" from guardians, which can feel pressing even when they aren’t true emergencies. I tend to feel compelled to respond, even outside my scheduled hours, which can undermine my well-being and professional effectiveness. To address this, I am developing better communication strategies to clarify what truly constitutes an emergency and reinforcing the importance of respecting scheduled sessions. I am also exploring assertiveness
techniques and self-care practices to help me maintain these boundaries and protect my overall well-being.
Overall, these efforts are helping me create more balance, resilience, and fulfillment in my life.
